CY Initiative

Created in 2010 and allocated €35 billion, the Investments for the Future program (PIA) aims to stimulate employment, boost productivity and increase the competitiveness of French businesses by encouraging investment and innovation in priority sectors to drive growth.

In 2017, ESSEC Business School and the CY Cergy-Paris University received by the French government the PIA label “Universities of excellence” for their project “CY initiative”. CY Initiative is an academic consortium with a common and ambitious project: to support innovative educational programs that aim to boost research potential and international attractiveness.
